Fabiola is a member of the 2013 Class of African Leadership Academy. In her time at the Academy, she participated at the 61st Harvard Model United Nations and served as Chairperson of the Pan-African Parliament at the 2015 ALA Model African Union conference, where she led a committee on addressing food insecurity in Africa.
She is a rising junior at Minerva Schools at KGI, where she spends each semester in a different country from the USA, to Germany and Argentina. She is concentrating in Cognitive Neuroscience and Government and social change in the Social Sciences. These experiences have fuelled her passion for education innovation in Africa and have pushed her to explore the ways in which African countries can create environments and policies that enhance innovation in education and also empower its younger generation with relevant 21st century skills. She has spent summers working with the African Leadership University working on highlighting visionary leaders on the continent, as well as working with Kiron, an online university providing education to refugees in Berlin.
