Hiba-T-Allah Boughrara

Hiba is a student at Pioneer Highschool in Bizerte, Tunisia and has received numerous awards and accolades for her academic achievements. From debating in TIMUN and volunteering at “It’s up to you to change Bizerte” to writing in the Student Magazine, being part of the YALI community and working on a project guided by NASA scientists about climate change, Hiba tries to diversify her experience by taking advantage of the opportunities that fit her interests.

She enjoys writing and has won herself in the regional and national writing competitions in her country. The young Tunisian is thriving for more and is driven by her sense of citizenship since she feels the responsibility to act on her community’s problems as she strongly believes the public sector is an interesting field that sometimes youth seem to be afraid of or might consider outside their circle of interests.

She hopes to use her experience as a Future Africa Ambassador to further explore her interests and be a voice for the voiceless in her community.
