Naisiae Tumpes

Naisiae Tumpes is an undergraduate student at the African Leadership University. She is, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Global Challenges. She chooses to major in Governance and Policy since she believes that to create everlasting positive change, there should be policies that work for the better of the people. She is mostly passionate about education and believes that by educating people, it will be very easy to impact change. Naisiae has volunteered with many Non-governmental organizations and community-based organizations in quest of bettering the lives of the vulnerable. She has volunteered in fields like SRHR, Anti-FGM campaigns, period poverty eradication, youth policy review, youth and women empowerment, youth in leadership and education.

She hopes to work in the public sector as a civil servant and later will venture into leadership, either political or cooperate.
Naisiae is a graduate of the Global Grassroots Young Women Academy with a certificate of social entrepreneurship. She also has a certificate of merit from Kijiji Africa Academy after covering topics that include, civic education, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights and Community Leadership. She was a member of the Safaricom Youth Orchestra where she played the clarinet and contributed to the overall success of the team. She currently serves under the United Nations Youth Association as the Narok County Coordinator.

Naisiae is looking for spaces where she will practice and grow her leadership skills. She is willing to work with organizations and individuals who are on mission to improve the lives of the vulnerable Africans.
