Wilhelmina Mulisa

Wilhelmina is currently a student at the University of Namibia doing a degree in Veterinary Medicine. She graduated with her diploma in Animal Health earlier in 2021. For hobbies, she enjoys walking horses, crocheting and has started a business where she crochets clothing and bags. Her passions lie with creating awareness on conserving the earth and the rights of women. She has taken part in an annual leadership training camp for young boys and girls called Camp GLOW hosted by Peace Corps. She also actively participated in a group called Zambezi Women’s Rights Girl Group where the importance of women and what feminism in our societies meant was discussed.

Her hopes for the public sector would be to have training of wildlife rangers in her local communities when it comes to handling natural resources and also for the policy makers in her country to create awareness on the effects human beings and animals have on climate change.
