Godson Nwankwo

Godson Nwankwo is a young Pan Africanist who is passionate about the establishment of a New political order in his country. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering. He advocates for citizens participation in politics. He is the regional deputy director East at Electoral College Nigeria and the coordinator of the New Nigerian Youth Movement. He is also a member of the opposition party in Nigeria; The People’s Democratic Party. 

Godson is interested in how technology can transform governance in Nigeria and create opportunities for young people. His policy agenda is on technology and education. He believes that the educational systems in Africa is antiquated and needs to be reviewed to meet the demands of the changing world. He hopes to run for office into the legislative arm in the coming years to push these narratives.

In giving back to the community, Godson has trained young people in his constituency on digital skills, founded Leadhills Network with other young leaders to invest in young people and to solve social problems in communities; through this initiative over 1000 students has been reached and some have received school fees and learning materials.
