Gouem Abdoul Chaafiou

Economist and manager by his educational background, GOUEM Abdoul Chaafiou is passionate about organizational development, entrepreneurship, youth and women empowerment and self-employment. in this logic, he pursued an Executive Master of Business Administration program at Thomas Sankara University in Burkina Faso in order to improve his skills and knowledge in corporate policy and strategy.

In accordance with his passion for Pan Africanism, political leadership and governance, he also holds a Master of Arts in Governance and Regional Integration that equipped him with strong analytical skills and proposals aptitudes. He is also a YALI Alumni and the co-founder of Books for my Faso, an association dedicated to the awakening of young children through the facilitation of their access to reading materials.

He is a certified SIYB (Start and Improve Your Business) Trainer and has a keen experience in business consulting for having worked as a corporate formalities advisor and a business consultant and trainer in some private sector support organizations. His ambition is to contribute at a national or a sub-regional level to develop the African private sector and reduce unemployment among youth and women by designing the appropriate policies and projects.
